Below you’ll find answers to a number of questions about the It’s Made For You meal delivery service and how we can make your mealtimes more enjoyable and hassle free.

Q.What is Dysphagia?

A. Dysphagia is the medical term for a swallowing problem. It’s a mixture of Modern Latin and Greek; ‘dys’ means something has gone wrong and ‘phagia’ means ‘to eat’.

Q. How can I be sure meals are safe for me to eat and my diet?

A. IMFY follow the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) to provide nutritional Puréed, Minced & Moist and Soft & Bite Sized meals, making meals enjoyable, convenient, and safe.

Q. I’m not always in on your regular delivery day - can you deliver on other days?

A. Your choice of delivery options is displayed at the checkout. However, if these aren’t convenient, you can call your local It’s Made For You by Oakhouse Foods branch and our colleagues will do what they can to accommodate you.

Q. What is the latest time in the day that I can place my ready meal order?

A. Please let us have your order by lunchtime of the day before your normal delivery day, or by lunchtime on Friday if your delivery day is Monday. But if you’re unsure, you can call your local It’s Made For You by Oakhouse Foods branch.

Q. Do I have to order every week, once I have placed one ready meal order?

A. There’s no commitment with It’s Made For You by Oakhouse Foods. You can use our food delivery service as often or as little as you like – only order when you want it!

Q. How do I pay?

A. For ready meals and groceries, you can pay by cash or cheque on delivery or by debit or credit card when you order over the phone or online. Find out more about how our home delivered meal service works and how to pay for your meals.

Q. I have trouble reading the ready meals brochure, is there anything you can do to help?

A. Yes, call your local branch and we will be happy to help.

Q. Is it possible for a friend or family member to order ready meals on my behalf?

A. Yes, they can use our online food ordering service or order over the phone. They can pay on your behalf, or you can pay us cash on delivery. All we need is the right address to send our delicious meals to. 

Q. What is your sourcing policy?

A. To ensure the best quality of the products, all our produce is sourced from approved and audited suppliers and subject to regular review. These include UK, EU and further afield.

Q. Do you have Halal meals available?

A. Please contact your local branch who can provide you with an up to date list of dishes.
